CrossFit is constantly varied (facilitates goal achievement and reduces/eliminated plateus), functional movements(directly influences daily activities of living), at high intensities(completed at your own pace but as quick as possible with ACCURACY).
In simple terms: We exercise using techniques designed to promote CARDIO, SPEED, STRENGTH, COORDINATION, POWER, STAMINA, AGILITY, BALANCE, FLEXIBILTY, AND ACCURACY. It is for EVERYONE and ALL fitness levels, novice to expert! A “never ever” could easily be in the same class with an expert because the daily workout (WOD) is designed to be completed at YOUR OWN FITNESS LEVEL. YOU push YOURSELF as hard as YOU can go! CrossFit can take you as far as you want to go… as far as YOU are WILLING to PUSH YOURSELF. Set your sights high and you will be amazed!
The weights , the reps, the height requirements can ALL be scaled to challenge any level of fitness from the chronic couch potato to the Olympic competitor and anyone in between to better fit YOUR NEEDS. You will still be in the best shape of your life and satisfied with your appearance in the end!!!!
